- Understand the organization strategy, vision and mission and its implication on the Human Resource Function.
- Plan, develop, organize, direct and evaluate the organization's human resource function and performance.
- Participate in the development of the organization's plans and programs as a business partner, but particularly from the perspective of the impact on people.
- Evaluate and advise on the impact of long-range planning of new programs on the attraction, motivation, development and retention of the people resources of the organization.
- Continually assesses the competitiveness of all programs and practices against the relevant comparable companies, industries and markets.
- Develop and update appropriate policies and programs for effective management of the Human resources of the organization.
- Maintains knowledge of international HR policies, programs, laws and issues. Understands the differences of domestic and international policies and programs and coordinates the integration of all such programs.
- Be agile on changing statutory requirements and ensure that the organization is fully compliant.
- Analyze trends, mine data to produce effective action plans and track the progress with the team.
- Identify and achieve efficiencies in the way the HR team operates to ensure maximum effectiveness. Ensure that the HR function adds value to the organization.
- Lead end-to-end implementation and execution of HR programs and initiatives; provide business-specific feedback to the Director HR (Global) for design and delivery improvement of programs
- Lead the annual manpower planning exercise, estimate cost of hiring and making budgetary allocation for hiring.
- Work closely with the department heads in creating job profiles, setting objectives & goals and Key Result Areas for every member in the organization and manages other areas such as relocation, employee communication, employee safety and health, and community relations.
- Manages the budget and other financial measures of the HR department.
- Monitor and report on costs, budgets and performance statistics in order to make recommendations on value for money and to achieve best practices.
- Act as a brand ambassador and a focal point of employee communication.
- Identify and implement new and innovative initiatives to enhance team and organization culture.
- Maintain proactive and open communication channels with all employees and play the role of counsellor to alleviate behavioral dissonance, interpersonal conflicts and building a congenial and performance friendly work atmosphere.
- Promote and maintain a positive attitude and image for the company
- Ensure that the organization follows Corporate HR processes as directed from time to time
