Head - Human Resource & Industrial Relations - FMCG - IIM/TISS/XLRI/SCMHRD (15-25 yrs)
Job Description :
- Prospective candidate will be responsible to manage HR & IR for the entire organization managing an employee base of 400+ people
- Lead all IR interventions
- Develop HR strategies and work with the various Heads of Departments to create and deliver the HR strategy for the business ensuring that the business objectives are met
- Stay current to industry practices and proactively develop and effectively introduce alternatives to current practices that balance employee relations and engagement.
- Take accountability for achieving HR Goals & objectives.
- Play a hands on role in managing the end-to- end process of attracting and on-boarding the right talent internally / external, thereby fulfilling staffing requirements on-time. Having a hands-on understanding of the recruitment procedures (incl. tools) and implementing them with consistency.
- Administers salary administration program to ensure compliance and equity within organization.
- Lead the implementation & change of robust, consistent and flexible performance management system, linked to the remuneration system
- On-going engagement with the client population to ensure effective HR support and coverage. Develop and implement appropriate communication processes and interventions on an on-going basis.
- Talent Development & Deployment Facilitate in identifying, nurturing and deploying talent effectively. Partner with the Business Heads and Talent and L&D team to build people capability.
- Drive active employee engagement; be seen as a go to HR implement specific engagement initiatives (targeted 1-1 discussions, pulse sessions, VoE initiatives etc.) that help achieve a highly engaged employee population across the varied businesses.
Job Specification :
- Should have hands on expertise in HR and Industrial Relations and should have managed settlements, agreements and IR issues
- Should have minimum 15 years of experience in Industrial Relations in manufacturing setups
- Full time MBA from a top tier business school (TISS/XLRI/SCMHRD/IIM/MILS)
- Preference will be given to candidates who have lead the HR function within the Chemical Industry
- Should have experience in managing organisation restructuring and mergers and acquisitions
- Preference for a candidate from Maharashtra region
