About our Client : Our client is a young, aggressive and fast-growing organization that is aiming to make a dent in the retail and banking industry in India, on how they acquire new consumers and how they manage the relationship with their existing consumers. They had a stupendously fast growth in the first phase of organizational development. Headquartered in Mumbai with offices across India, they are currently about 270 people strong.

Job Description : The Head of HR will operate as a trusted advisor and business partner to the Founder & CEO as the expert on people and organizational issues. He/She would also be the Strategic Thought Leader to the Executive Senior Management Team on matters related to their teams and people.

Key functions/ focus-areas for the Head of HR would be as follows :

- Recruitment - Identify the best talent available in the market as per requirement and recruit them.

- Talent Management - Match Employee capability with the skillset requirement for each role.Create an environment of high employee engagement with the organization to also improve productivity levels

- Organization Development - Build a conceptual framework of the organization's desired culture and implement steps, resulting in a high performance workforce.

- Please note that above areas are only indicative in terms of maximum development and the Head HR would be responsible for all operational/strategic aspects of HR.

The Successful Candidate :

- Ideally you are a MBA with experience between 10 - 15 years and is leading the HR function for a service organization.

- You have set up structures, processes in an organization and are confident to replicate the success model to enhance employee engagement, productivity and bring about positive changes in areas of TA/OD.

- Passion for building an organization is extremely critical.

- This is a job profile that gives you an opportunity play a key role in building an organization into significant scale

- A strong preference for a background in Technology and/or Consumer Services industry

- Ability to judge people, quickly identify top talent and capability to inspire them to join is extremely important

- Experience of managing basic HR practices such as HR Operations, Leave Management, Pay Roll, etc. is a plus

- Must have strong interpersonal and leadership skills that are effective in a high performance work environment

- MBA or Master's degree in HR from a premium B-School is useful.
