Job Profile:

- Provide Leadership and Direction to a nationwide Hub & Line haul organisation operating world class hub and spoke system for the company

- Optimising resources and developing organisation effectiveness with infrastructure for short & long term company goals.

- Provide innovative & cost effective solutions for a fast paced and rapidly evolving eCommerce market in a challenged infrastructure environment

Minimum requirements, Skills and Knowledge:

- Develop, mentor and motivate the team to achieve organisational continuity and expertise.

- Financial budgeting & execution - PNL accountability of Hub operations.

- Leading the development, implementation and operationalization of effective Hub and line-haul solutions for a complex operation utilising vendors.

- Responsible for org plan, vendor evaluation, controlling costs and achievement of required service levels for hub and line haul operations.

- Responsible for building expertise relating to Hub and line-haul capabilities, including opportunities to enhance or modify processes, procedures or timelines (e.g. re-organisation of Regulatory procedure) or for dedicated service to specific categories or customer needs

- Signs off development of appropriate Hub and line-haul recommendations and/or implementation of approved solutions.

- Responsible for strategic projects that include a Hub/line-haul requirement. Evaluate vendor capabilities (performance, costs, stability etc).

- Work closely with FC, Procurement, Retail and Marketplace teams to ensure relevant sharing of information and agreement on actions and with Engineering & Technology/ IT teams to build strong technology/System/Processes for FKL Hub & Line Haul Operations.

- Responsible for review and signing off of new/amended Service Contracts for Hub and LH vendors that incorporate all relevant service and cost criteria

- Improve productivity and/or reduce costs.

- Build a culture of ownership and empowerment.

- Accountable for asset management across Hub and Line Haul.

- Work with Logistics experts centrally to implement global best practices Delivery/logistics initiatives within his org.

- Graduate / Post Graduate with 12 to 15 years of experience in courier /logistics industry preferred.
