Our client is a blue chip conglomerate, with operations all over the region. They are well known and rated amongst the top corporates in the region with presence in multiple sectors, leadership and an instant brand recall in the sectors they operate. They have built some world class projects and now embarking on most prestigious, ambitious and landmark project in south East Asia. For their ambitious initiatives, they are looking for a dynamic HR professional to handle their International HR Operations for all the current/ future projects outside India.   Ideal candidate will be an HR leader with hands on experience in handling HR operations for the International business of an IT Services/ Consulting organization of repute  Incumbent will be responsible for setting up the HR operations from scratch, hire the local teams, handle the deputations, involved in the design the compensation & benefit structure working closely with the consultants etc  Responsibilities:  - The incumbent will act as a high touch HR Business Partner to assigned Regional/International operations of the group, and play a leadership role in developing a - centre of expertise- for talent attraction, performance, and development, employee relations, country specific compensation and benefits model, local laws, recruitment through departure (including sourcing/recruitment, integration, operating models, resource management, performance, compensation, policy interpretation, employee relations, risk management, professional development and department management)  - As a member of the business/business partner leadership team, leverages knowledge of the function, its culture, competitors and practices to create and drive HR solutions that will help drive the business results in various geographies across the region. Understands function dynamics in respective countries, growth strategies, M&A/divestitures, financials and products/services.   - Provides counsel and advice to managers and leaders within the business; influences people decisions and anticipates people implications of business initiatives. Speaks the language of the business; understands the key drivers of success; has the insight to raise issues for consideration by leadership. Act as talent proponent with the business.   - Facilitates flawless execution of HR services: Works effectively with colleagues within HR to orchestrate the delivery and/or customization of HR programs needed to provide competitive advantage. Continually updates and/or educates colleagues within HR on the business to help drive optimal solution for all constituents. This may include compensation, staffing, performance management, diversity, operations and governance.   - Acts as people capability builder within a function - aligning strategy, culture, policies, programs and people to help function meet their goals in respective countries. Will need to ensure solutions make sense in the context of next level up business strategy. In this regard, will need to influence and educate multiple constituencies to a high degree.   - Manager of professional knowledge, communication, business and change management skills consistent with experienced HR manager.   - Actively keep abreast of existing/changing employment laws; ensure that Global/Regional Services related policies and practices are in concert with local employment law.  Requirements:   - Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience minimum of 15 years of related HR experience, preferably in a professional environment  - Experience must include a strong background/expertise as an HR generalist (including employment law expertise and related demonstrated ability to manage complex international employment issues) and demonstrated success as an HR advisor to management of all levels  - Global / regional experience (including experience managing multi-country employment laws) a plus  - Experience with current recruitment practices and sources preferred (e.g., sourcing and selection, use of applicant tracking systems, and social media to support high quality/lower cost recruitment)  - High level of business acumen  - High level of discretion - ability to deal with highly confidential information appropriately  - Demonstrated ability to exercise effective judgement, sensitivity, discretion, and creativity to changing needs and situations  - Strong communication (written and verbal), interpersonal and problem solving skills  - Self-starter with strong organization skills - ability to meet deadlines, prioritize assignments, and juggle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment  POSITION WILL BE BASED OVERSEAS HOWEVER FOR IN THE INITIAL PHASE IT MAY BE BASED IN MUMBAI/BANGALORE.
