Head - HR Generalist - IT (8-12 yrs)

A 30 years old UK based software IT firm located in whitefield, with 500+ employees offshore and 100 people onsite is looking for HR personnel who can head the complete Generalist activities of the organization, end to end ( except recruitment ).

Looking for people who can join in 1 month or less time.

BU Specific HR Strategy

- To Partner with SBU leadership team to draw BU specific HR Strategy to optimize Business Performance

- To ensure that HR deliverables are in line with the BU expectations & to result in a positive impact on business metrics

- To act as an advisory in influencing the BU direction on People Strategies

Employee Retention & Engagement :

- Work collaboratively with the business in strategically evaluating work force trends to determine HR Strategic proposition

- Act as an trusted advisory to senior management in influencing direction on people strategies - Designed & Implemented People initiative and intervention

- Retain the best talents through proactive retention strategies by conceptualizing the root cause analysis to control attrition and effectively implement Retention strategies in consultation with the Business

- Responsible for driving change through various Formal & Informal - Employee Engagement Initiatives- Employee engagement Actions plans

- Work along with the business to support & engineer various communication framework - Reach-Direct, Open House, 1-on-1, Skip Level, New Letter, Xpress Hours, Focus Groups, HR central

- Driving BU Specific R&R programs to create motivational and rewarding environment through- e-Appreciation, Appreciation Week, Well-Done

- Develop and implement Managed Management Development Programme

- Train Line Managers & Senior Managers on HR Process & Policies

- Implement robust Induction program to ensure smooth boarding of the new entrants. Designed e-handbook for the employees & introduced employee friendly portal

- Architect and implement formal and informal motivational and team out bound programs to enhance the morale of the team.

- Conducting touch time meeting/HR connect sessions with employees to identify the trends of employee pulse & recommend sustainable corrective measures.

- Introduce various platforms - Focus group meetings/GIS for employees to demonstrate freedom of speech - voice their opinion.

- Ensure pro-active employee relations strategies and provide ongoing coaching and counseling to leaders and employees on HR and employee relations issues.

- Design and Implement various HR Policies in line with the business requirements

- Conduct Employee Satisfaction Survey & identified Organizational gaps.

Resource Management :

- Proactively confirm employees aspiration & liaison with Resource Manager for skill alignment

- Data Analytics To provide valuable insights/ inputs on IJPP to ensure Career growth and development of employees through Job rotation (LCO)

- Bench management To anticipate the project ramp down & apply increased degree of involvement in Market-focused Skill Development.

- Liaison with Leadership time on time in monitoring and tracking on the utilization % to optimize business performance.

Performance Management :

- Strong foundation of Performance management processes to drive strategy

- Implement the goal setting process with in the BU across locations

- Deployment of the performance management process & to ensure 100% compliance on timely completion

- Create and design effective appraisal workshops for appraiser and appraise. Execute Performance Management Workshops for Employees and Managers

- Process owner for driving PMP. ( Career action plan/Performance improvement plan /Performance enhancement plan) Identifying & tracking the training needs emerging from appraisal sessions

- Liaison with line managers & to facilitated career path sessions for the employee

- Implement the Leadership development programs

Drive Performance management conclaves end to end process -To actively be part of the conclave decisions & in the normalization process.

- Act as a Change Agent in revamping the Performance Management System

Compensation & Benefits :

- Primary interface to all employees for compensation and benefit related matters & issues across BU

- Managing Annual and Quarterly Compensation budgets and reviews.

- Managing Compensation and Promotion Review in the organization .

- Managing and tracking Offshore, Onsite and Offsite Compensation Models

- Tracking and analysis of Team Pyramid and Labor Cost

- Providing valuable insights in deriving Promotion & Compensation guidelines based on the business trend & Market study.

- Educating Managers on compensation process and philosophy

- Interacting with Function heads for promotion decision and to be part of the Review Committee in assessing the recommended promotion cases

- Responds to policy and process inquiries. To consult on solutions for a variety of compensation- related issues

Training & Induction :

- Coordinating induction and internal training programs (finalisation of list of participants, faculty, support etc.).

- Organised training programs on Team Building, Performance Management and other Behavioral training programs. Facilitated the joining formalities & Orientation program for New Hires

- Finalizing the training roadmap in consultation with the line manager for new recruits

- Orientated the managers & employees on Company process & policies
