Job Title: Global Account Director – Large Business Group
Location: Bangalore
ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES -
- As a key account manager, act as a link between the client and the firm .
- Be able to create credibility, build strong, lasting client relationship, and become a trusted business partner.
- The key account manager must anticipate and respond to the needs of the client and help identify and convert opportunities for the firm, while meeting client's expectations.
- He/she must take initiative to evaluate, explain, and validate customer requirements on a continuous basis and
- Be able to identify possible solution to meet the customer needs & coordinate the introduction of the right in-house technical expertise
- Focus on current issues to ensure that time sensitive solutions and ideas are communicated to clients using internal network to identify the firm’s value proposition to take to the client
- Maintain a strong client presence becoming the "go-to" person for the client working seamlessly with the lead partner
- Ensure effective communication across Client Service Team and projects globally. Be recognized as a central point of contact on business development and relationship matters
- Introduce new ideas and solutions to the client
- Personally lead development of those relationships where the firm has no existing relationship
- Develop peer relationships with client staff
- Co-ordinate client relationship events per year and ensure return on investment is measured through deepened relationships
- Preserve the business within the account as well as generate new business
- Meet the desired revenue and profitability targets for the account
- Meet the firm standards in achieving key customer account plans and maintaining customer satisfaction
- Liaise with other members of the account support teams to ensure that best practice is shared, client and sector intelligence is communicated and what services are selling well
- Develop account strategy and convert that into actionable detail for the Client Service Team, and play a key lead on account budgets, rates and service agreement negotiations
- Manage large proposals and responses to RFPs
- Meet the targets set for strategic objectives and profitable sales volume in allocated key account

- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must have excellent negotiating, client servicing and people skills
- Should be sales and business development oriented
- Should have the ability to work in a rapidly growing & often changing business environment
- Should be willing to travel

- Sets the standard for insight and opinions delivered to the client as is knowledgeable on both client business issues and the firm’s solutions and can match both effectively through assimilation.

SKILLS -
- 8-10 years experience of account relationship management or a client-facing professional role, and understanding of professional services markets an advantage.
- Good interpersonal, organizational and communication skills
- Good knowledge of professional services organizations
- Global experience is a plus
- Good presentation skills
- Possess excellent communication skills and be confident speaking to large groups
- Good working knowledge of Function, Lines of Business
- Strong understanding of services and relevant content across the firm
QUALIFICATION -
- Professional : MBA from top business school in India or overseas
- At least 10-12 years relevant experience in sales/business development or key account management
