Head - Finance Shared Service - Centre of Process Excellence & Consolidation - CA - FMCG

Will be given full responsibility of the Centre of Process Excellence and Consolidation. The role would involve close interaction with the financial reporting and operating teams across locations and the CPEC team. You will be expected to ensure tasks and projects are allocated efficiently to ensure personal development, a high level of mentorship and guidance, identifying (and where appropriate scheduling) any technical or skills training requirements. The organization and coordination of this team will be critical to the success of not only the two teams but the remainder of the finance and business strategy teams

The CoE & CPEC will be responsible for financial reporting and transactional related processes, respectively, that will serve as a basis for the Finance function of the group to perform their functions and activities

- Set objectives and define development plans for direct report(s) in line with department objectives - Day to day supervision of direct report(s)

- Assist and support in the assessment of impact of change challenge initiatives

- Team's mentorship, leadership and motivation

- Propose Key Performance Indicators to the Top Management in order to implement tracking tool to measure success

- Tracking performance vs. Service Level Agreements Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

- Responsible for best practices research, recommendations, and implementation.

- Develop and maintain processes and systems to support AP, AR, GL reconciliation functions

- Effectively coordinate with other members for the Finance function, the region and corporate to balance clients expectations with team's resources and workloads.

- Develop/implementation of control matrix

- Ensure controls underpinning the production of financial data are appropriately designed and operating effectively

- Maintain procedures and controls documentation

- Responsibility for ensuring supplier invoicing is accurate

- Standardize working papers across all projects

- Provision of information to auditors

- Should have experience in transactional quality and operations management - Managed and ideally set up Finance Shared Services Centre in a large organization

- Resource and Project Management skills

- High level of organizational skills, good written and oral communication skills.

- Able to communicate and persuade at all levels

- Willing to accept the challenge of setting up an entire SSC from scratch

- Hands on, deep experience using modern Operational Excellence and Continuous Improvement methods (LEAN, TPM, 6 Sigma, TQM). Broad knowledge of these methodologies.

- Proven leadership skills to coach and lead teams to fully deliver the objectives and projects.
