Head - Finance - Manufacturing (8-15 yrs)

Role : Head - Finance - India

Duties and Responsibilities :

Reporting directly to the Regional Head of Accounting, APAC and dot line to General Manager India. Working closely with regional FP&A Team, the sub-regional teams, various departments and Corporate, will be responsible to manage the followings :

- Lead and manage the full finance and compliance functionality of India sub-region.

- Ensure India subsidiary fully compliance with local statutory requirement

- Responsible for daily operations of the financial activities of India subsidiary, serve as Finance focal point.

- Ensure the integrity, accuracy and timely delivery of financials for all subsidiaries, oversee the consolidation process; provide monthly/quarterly/year end analysis.

- Provide management reporting to the regional FP&A team and General Manager India including budget preparation.

- Review Payroll and Sales Compensation calculations done by payroll providers.

- In charge of company secretary related tasks by working with external and internal consultants.

- In charge of tax planning of India subsidiary by working with HQ tax and external tax consultant

- Work with Sales Operations on order release and collections in HK entity related to India resellers.

- Interface with all legal, regulatory and governmental agencies to resolve issues.

- Work very closely with HQ and regional HQ for closing, accounting, treasury and Financing issues.

- Work closely and maintain a good relationship with auditors and tax advisors, manage audits and SOX/IFC compliance.

- Seek to continuously improve processes and procedures, develop missing processes.

- Ad-Hoc tasks / projects as required by management / other departments.

Education/Experience :

- Over 7 years relevant working experience in MNC, big 4 trained and with 2-3 years at Manager or above grade.

- Bachelor Degree in Accountancy/Finance or other relevant qualification, and CPA qualified.

- Member of Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) is a must

- Experience in managing people.

- Hands on with excellent computer skills in Excel and PowerPoint; Oracle ERP and knowledge of Hyperion is preferable.

- Strong understanding on financial statements, strong experience with US GAAP and SOX compliance.

- Familiarity with sales contracts and legal terminology is essential.

- Fluent in English. Strong verbal and written presentation skills in English.

- Located in Bangalore, occasional traveling required.
