Description : As the Head of Finance, lead the Finance function for a multinational pharmaceuticals company with an annual turnover of approximately 300 cr

- Our client is one of the top 50 pharmaceutical companies worldwide and is currently focused on development of new molecules particularly in the nephrology and GI space
Job Description :
As the Finance Head, you will manage a team of 8 people - 5 in the Mumbai City region and 3 at the plant level. You will be responsible for the following functions :
Financial Reporting :
- Overseeing detailed financial statement preparation according to both IGAAP and IFRS while coordinating the external audit
Taxation :
- Supervising the taxation compliance and planning function in co-ordination with external consultants while creating processes for cost reduction and provisions to bringing the process in-house
New Projects :
- Spearheading the implementation, up-gradation and testing of new projects like IFC and GST
Internal Controls :
- Upgrading and standardizing the current internal control system surrounding Financial Reporting to mitigate risk and meet global compliance levels
Operational and Business MIS :
- Ensure that MIS data surrounding each process is accurately captured in existing SAP system. Ensuring accurate compilation of the data for generation of high level management reports
Planning and Analysis :
- As part of the leadership team, ensure that the MIS data captured is analysed deeply in conjunction with business teams globally to ensure strong value addition to the business
Profile :
You are a Chartered Accountant with 10-15 years of experience. You are experienced as a Finance Head/ Finance Head -1 in a manufacturing organisation with a turnover of less than 1000 cr.
- You have strong hands on experience in accounting, controlling, planning, analysis and treasury and are currently working with multinational company.
