Urgent Vacancy for the position of Head Finance with a leading company with various businesses in Mumbai

Location : Mumbai

Qualification : CA ( Mandatory )

Key Responsibilities :

- Providing leadership in the development for the continuous evaluation of short and long-term strategic financial objectives.

- Ensuring credibility of Finance group by providing timely and accurate analysis of budgets, financial trends and forecasts.

- Directing and overseeing all aspects of the Finance & Accounting functions of the organization.

- Managing financial forecasting, budgets and consolidation & reporting process

- Providing recommendations to strategically enhance financial performance and business opportunities.

- Ensuring that effective internal controls are in place and ensure compliance with GAAP and applicable federal, state and local regulatory laws and rules for financial and tax reporting.

- Managing the overall function of finance & accounts department and team management.

- Maintaining relationship with Investors, banks and financial Institutions and an active role of catalyst in funds acquisition, in most appropriate manner, meeting the needs of the business.

- Exposure to M&A and dealing with PE / VC

- Company Secretarial activity - where applicable.

Candidate Profile :

- Chartered Accountant with at least 10-12 years overall experience

- Post-graduate qualification in business management and Secretarial experience is desirable

- The candidate should have the overall business acumen and leadership skills to manage a high growth business

- Exposure to M&A and dealing with PE / VC houses is a necessity and an advantage

- Communications and presentation skills necessary to interact with the investment community

- Strong ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements and projections.

- In-depth of knowledge in the finance functions including Indian / GAAP accounting.

- This individual should have a strong ability to set performance metrics

- In terms of the performance and personal competencies required for the position, be entrepreneurial, results-oriented, curious, strategic thinker and a good people manager.
