About our Client - Our client is a leading global distributor of oil and natural gas products with revenues over USD 1.5 billion and a presence across Europe, the Americas and APAC

Job Description - As the India Finance Head, your functional reporting is global while you work closely with the India Managing Director for senior decision making.

Your responsibilities will include :

- Managing a finance team of over 10 situated at both the corporate headquarters as well as the terminal locations

- Driving the internal audit function to ensure process compliances, risk mitigation and fraud investigations

- Ensuring the setup of robust MIS, budgeting and planning exercises

- Overseeing reporting according to IFRS standards and co-ordination with Big 4 statutory auditors

- Driving the taxation piece to ensure substantial savings to the organization

- Coordinating extensively with banks and global stakeholders in the raising of capital and other investment activities

- Managing secretarial and other compliance activities

The Successful Candidate

- You are a Qualified Chartered Accountant and Company Secretary with 12-18 years experience in oil and gas/FMCG/ logistics.

- You have excellent presentation communication skills and are a bold decision maker.

- You have dealt with senior stakeholders and have managed mid-size teams for sundry finance activities including audit, taxation and -treasury.

- You have extensive hands-on experience preferably at a plant location or equivalent
