Job description:
- Performing Accounting, Finance, Compliances, Legal, Company Secretarial and Internal control functions of the Indian subsidiary of the Parent company
- Accounting responsibility includes monthly closing, reporting to Parent company
- Secretarial responsibilities include conducting Board meetings, General meetings and statutory filings, fresh capital infusion.
- Support in vetting of Agreements, contracts, defending against consumer complaints filed by the customers.
- Internal controller, who is responsible for assessing the internal control strengths, monitor the control environment, suggest and implement improvements, perform control activities, assess risks and plan mitigation. Responsible for the overall operation of the internal control system in the Indian subsidiary.
- Support in preparation of Business plans, budgetary controls, variance analysis, monthly MIS.
- Supervise the ERP applications functionally, support and plan maintenance, identify areas for improvements and plan customizations.
- Having overall responsibility for finance function including F & A, Business Planning, forecasting, management reporting including periodic reporting to the corporate at UK, Commercial vetting of strategies, financial controls and compliances.
- Built financial systems and processes sufficient to take the company to the second level of growth.
- Introduced new management reporting system by drilling down to strategic business unit and individual practices.
- Implemented robust forecasting system which continuously updated the financial outlook identifying the variance to the budget and highlighting the key focus areas to meet the budget.
