Head - Finance - CA/CPA - FMCG (10-16 yrs)
Role
Responsible for all financial and fiscal management aspects of Bose India operations. Provide leadership and coordination in the administrative, business planning, accounting and budgeting efforts of the subsidiary.
Primary Accountability
- Responsible for making sure that all transactions are recorded in the general ledger in a timely manner and in the correct account, amount and period
- Establish and maintain appropriate internal control safeguards including compliance with statutory regulations
- Develop tools and systems to provide critical financial and operational information to the local leadership team and make actionable recommendations on both strategy and operations.
- Further duties include: Monthly financial statements, cash forecasting, variance analysis, annual budgeting, and tax filings
- Assess organisational performance against both the annual budget and company's long-term strategy.
- Ensures that all employees under supervision are adequately trained and have adequate knowledge of their job functions
Qualifications
- Min. 10 years' working experience in Finance
- A strong understanding of accounting and tax including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
- Ability to analyse financial data and prepare financial reports, statements, and projections
- Experience in strategic planning and execution. Knowledge of budgeting and cost control principles.
- Professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to motivate teams to produce quality materials within tight time frames and simultaneously manage several projects
- Ability to participate in and facilitate group meetings
- CPA or Accounting qualification
- SAP experience preferred
