Head- Exim EPC (20-30 Yrs)

Desired Profile:

- This is a strategic position in the organization. We are looking for a candidate either with engineering or CA background. Should have minimum 20-25 years’ work experience in all the matters pertaining to DGFT and Customs, of which last 5 years should be as Head of EXIM in a large engineering/projects conglomerate of repute. He is required to lead a team of 20 senior personnel.

Key Responsibilities:

The incumbent that we are looking for will need the following competencies:

- In depth knowledge of various licenses, for e.g., Advance, SHIS, SFIS, Focused markets, Focused products, etc.

- Facilitative skills to harness the data, information, etc. from all ICs, consolidate the same and get benefit for L &T

- Will liaise with DGFT and customs for various EXIM related policies and practices

- Will guide all IC EXIM personnel in various policy related matters

- Will front end policy advocacy at Delhi on behalf of all businesses of L &T

- Will ensure all EXIM related benefits are received by the organization

- Will help IC personnel in improving their competency

Competency / Skills desired:

- Well experienced in handling Export and Import for Engineering and Project related goods and services.

- To have thorough knowledge of Export- Import including Licensing and Benefits thereof.

- Proven exposure in accordance to Excise Rules and regulation pertaining to similar industry.

- Should have excellent organizational skills.

- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
