This Position will report to the Head Plant Operations  Direct Reports: 4 - 5   Location: Works (Khatima, Uttaranchal)  Qualification, Experience & Skill set required:  - Engineering Graduate preferably Mechanical/Electrical  - Total experience of 12 – 15 years with at least 7-8 years in Engineering Services  - Exposure to Continuous process environment and experience of managing cross functional teams  - Basic knowledge of Polyester process   Key Responsibilities:  - Lead optimization of maintenance/utilities cost initiatives.   - Redefine Engineering Services so as to bring in enhanced efficiencies in the process  - Ensure uninterrupted utilities services to the process.  - Take ownership of improving utilities services by effectively analyzing the conversion cost and operating existing systems, installing projects and proposing improvement plans.  - Lead the Engineering Services team towards developing systems and procedures to strengthen reliable machine operation   - Lead process improvement initiatives through new/modified procedures in Engineering Services area.  - Responsible for ensuring adherence to the norms of specific consumption in terms of all utilities like power, thermic fluid heating, steam ,compressed air , Nitrogen and water.  - Responsible for maintaining HVAC system effectively in terms of cost and cleanliness.  - Responsible for ensuring safety and housekeeping in the entire production area.  Additional Responsibilities:  - Supporting the production team through automation and robust preventive maintenance.  - Responsible for ensuring adherence to all technical regulatory compliances and liaison with relevant internal and external stakeholders  - Responsible for technical design validation to help projects team and closing vendor contacts through technical negotiations  - Leading and motivating a large technical workforce   Critical Skills/Knowledge/Competencies:  Skills:   - Strong Process Orientation  - Good Interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively  - Good Communication Skills  - Analytical Skills  Knowledge:  - Strong Technical Knowledge in utility equipment like Solid fuel firing/ Steam boilers/ Thermic fluid heaters, high and low side air-conditioning systems, electrical distribution systems  Competencies:  - Strives for Excellence  - Focus on Action  - Thinks Creatively  - Builds Collaboration
