Head - Engineering - Online Food & Beverages Retail - IIT/NIT

RESPONSIBILITIES:

The head of engg is responsible for the engineering team, which consists of development, extension and stability of our core IT platform

Establish the company's IT vision and technology strategy

Direct activities so that systems are developed on schedule and within quality standards and cost objectives and meet market demands. This will involve managing an internal team of 12+ tech and analytics resources and also include working with outsourced tech development related firms.

Review, analyze and approve the department's operational and project budgets.

Identify technology trends and evolving social behavior that may support or impede the success of the business.

Communicate the company's technology strategy to investors, management, staff, partners, customers, and stakeholders.

Providing a leadership role in the day-to-day operations of the IT function as well as providing direction as the enterprise grows.

REQUIREMENT:

BE/Btech in Computer Science or related technical degree from Premier Institutes IIT/NIT etc.

Experience in the Information Technology arena.

Proven success as a strategic technology leader including infrastructure and line-of-business support.
