Job description

Distribution Head in Indepay will be responsible for P&L of the entire field operations for the complete product portfolio. You will own the sales and distribution channel of geography and will be responsible for achieving the gross and net target. You will create and execute strategy to develop and expand existing channel by overcoming local cultural barriers and challenges. You will define the targets for each cluster. You will review the progress of the current targets vis-a-vis the budget exhausted by you periodically and will publish the dashboard on the same to the executive management of the company. You will plan the new product launch in the distribution channel with the circle Sales and Marketing Heads. You will provide feedback on competitive moves to protect the base and increase share of subscribers and revenue. You will develop partnerships model across clusters and will design the incentive plan for the partners to drive profitability of the business. You will identify the development areas and ensure that proper training is being imparted to them for the same.

Key responsibilities

- Develop and implement sales strategy and organization to support the company's strategy of creating payment network.

- Develop appropriate go-to-market routes for the company and its products/solutions

- Identify and recruit talent and drive performance by managing, motivating, and developing individual contributors

Determine action plans and short-term objectives to execute sales and channel strategy for large distributor or wholesale channels

- Develop, execute and own all sales activities in given geography

- Create and own sales-lead management infrastructure (including CRM) and processes

- Responsible for planning, forecasting and implementation of sales plan, achieving sales targets, leading team, identify and develop relationships with banks, government departments, distributors and franchisees in region

- Liaison and responsible for sustaining on-going relationship with different stakeholders like Indepay Corporate partners like government agencies, banks, corporate clients, VAS (Value added services) providers, financial institutions, regulatory authorities etc

- Initiate and close tie-ups with new service providers

- Conduct review meeting and develop monthly action plans

- Plan & create local alliances and manage strategic channel conflict

Key skills :

- Should have prior experience in creating and managing channel preferably for telecom companies

- Should have a go-getter attitude and have excellent number crunching skills

- An excellent team builder and motivator

- Should posses an in depth knowledge of the geography in which he/she needs to operate

- Should possess excellent project management skills

- Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, drive change, and collaborate effectively with a variety of individuals and organizations

- Superior analytical skills to analyze any scenario in macro and micro perspective -

- Should be self starter, result oriented and a strong bias for execution is mandatory
