Role purpose:

The role is accountable for growing and driving the adoption of online sales through digital analysis, world class search, and business intelligence in order to achieve revenue and sales targets.

Key Accountabilities

- Create Digital Sales Strategy & Responsible for driving digital sales.

- Delivery of a robust digital funnel.

- Act as business owner for the Shop journey and oversee requirements for channel experience

- Create Digital Marketing Strategy & develop Digital Marketing Calendar & Digital only propositions

- Full responsibility of developing World class Search Optimization/Marketing & accelerating traffic to the Digital Assets

- Integration with Digital Marketing to drive Digital Campaigns

- Support decision management through digital analytics and business intelligence.

- Management of Search and Analytics Agencies

Core competencies, knowledge and experience

Knowledge:

- Excellent understanding of the Online/Digital marketplace: trend awareness; industry best practices; competitor analysis.

- Strong consumer understanding

Skills:

- Excellent communication and influencing skills with senior & cross functional stakeholder management.

- Strategic thinker with ability to identify issues which may have impact on wider operational objectives

- Goal focused and energetic in delivery

- Leadership skills

- Budget Management skills

Must have technical / professional qualifications:

Education & Experience:

- MBA essential

- Out of total experience minimum of 5 to 8 yrs relevant experience essential in Online/Digital.

- Sales Management of large scale Online capability, including Online Store sales

- Taking existing business capability from a traditional business model and deliver into Online.

- Optimising multiple sales channels and significantly increasing market share

- Creating strategic plans to win market share from competitors

- Achievement of ambitious sales targets within changing internal environments and external market conditions.

- Minimum of 5 years Leadership/Management/Supervisory experience (essential)

- International experience advantageous.
