Head - Digital Marketing - eCommerce (3-5 yrs)

Job Description:

- Work with product managers to gather requirement, plan timelines, resources and execution on projects

- Build marketing budgets to execute product and marketing objectives

- Direct teams to develop websites, Microsites, landing pages, digital ads

- Manage email marketing - designing, integrating, tracking email campaigns, managing newsletters and digital nurture campaigns

- Develop monthly, quarterly and yearly reporting on all digital asset and marketing campaign performance

- Work with web designers and developers to produce creative designs for websites / emailers / brochures / campaigns etc.

- Build an internal team of designers, social media specialists, content writers etc.

- Keep abreast and implement latest web technologies to improve the user experience

- Work with the team to build and analyze reports: draw insights, help the team identify optimization tactics and adjust strategy accordingly

Requirement:

- Must have deep understanding and hands-on knowledge of, SEO, SMM, SEM, PPC, content creation and management aspects

- Must have managed a team of content writers, web designers, developers and SEO, SMM, SEM, PPC Analysts

- Creating social media communities and driving awareness & engagement

- Must have an excellent eye for design & UI/UX

- Formulate the content strategy for all digital assets and be responsible for it

- Must have an eye for content that captures audiences and results in higher clicks and direct the content development team accordingly

- Deep understanding of web analytics tools across digital and social media

The ideal candidate should have:

-3-5 years prior experience supporting direct-to-customer digital marketing communications within a corporate or agency environment (or start up)

- Demonstrated project leadership in digital marketing creative

- Development, cross-functional planning and campaign management

- Analytical skills; comfortable distilling campaign data into

- Actionable insights and optimization opportunities

- Strong understanding of the eCommerce and applications environment

- Strong project management skills and ability to multi-task

- Ability to work and deliver in tight timelines

- Good understanding of new technologies and how they can be applied to marketing

- Strong understanding of web/digital technologies
