Head/DGM - Human Resource & Industrial Relations - Apparel/Retail (8-15 yrs)

We are looking for Head HR - East Zone for one of Retail (Apparel) Company. One of the best employer by AON Hewitt Survey.

- Should know local language. (Bengali).

- HR Head for East Zone. East Zone spans across 4 states, 30 large format stores, 350 workforce (on Roll) and a business volume of 800Cr. The zone is projected to double the network next financial year

- The role is reporting directly to the Zonal Business Head and functionally to the pan India HR Head.

- The HR Head for East has 4 direct reports and 15+ indirect reports.

- Establish and institutionalize a robust Talent acquisition framework to deliver high quality resource availability and enhance the process efficiency

- To implement revised processes of HR Operations delivery to improve employee experience and enhance efficiency

- Capability building and Talent Management for career progression through structured interventions

- Structured diagnosis of organization health and implement strategies in alignment to employer value proposition

- To Track and monitor compliance to statutory norms, Value system and strengthen the employee relations

- Develop Zonal annual operating plan

- Develop team capabilities and create alignment with the Zonal HR expectations

Job Purpose of Direct Reports :

Talent Acquisition : To devise strategy for recruitment & selection & getting on-board the potential talent to ensure that business is armed with an able workforce to deliver the top line numbers. Ensure proper onboarding for the new employees for helping them settle in the organization.

Operations & Employee Engagements : To plan & ensure adherence to the Manpower Budget by optimal utilization of cost & count to deliver maximum productivity per employee; to train, coach & monitor the Store HR personnel on various HRIS management, processes, policies & ensure its effective implementation; To plan & ensure employee connect through various cost effective activities & deliver employee satisfaction at all levels.

Learning & Development : To establish & institutionalize robust alignment to Talent & Career Management processes & delivery mechanism spanning various aspects like Training identification, Planning, Design, delivery & learning evaluation in line with the operating plan to achieve long term vision for the zone

Payroll & Compensation : To ensure that timely and accurate payroll data is shared with the Payroll processing team for correct dispersal of salaries to employees for maintaining a satisfied and dedicated workforce.

Legal & Compliance : Plan, organise and manage all activities of Statutory compliances with highest quality and cost effectiveness to maximise the degree of compliances, making the organization risk aversive which results in superior repute of the organization among the industry, citizens and government of the country .
