Work Location : Mumbai

Experience : 10 - 18 years (Overall)

Key Responsibilities :

- To contribute to the growth of the business by ensuring that credit proposals are reviewed using adequate documentation within a committed time frame.

- To undertake ongoing reviews of credit exposures and formulate strategies to reduce/ control exposures in a way that they continue to be feasible & bankable.

- To inculcate a risk culture across the business line by highlighting credit risks and mitigation actions.

- To monitor key MIS on business performance and evaluate existing processes in light of regulatory and compliance requirements on an ongoing basis.

- To hold regular reviews of the portfolio with the CXO individuals.

- To decision proposals within the delegated authority framework and recommend cases to the Committee for decisions as appropriate

- To groom and motivate the team for achieving high standards of risk assessment and monitoring

- Analyzing potential risks and initiating preventive measures for overcoming the same.

- Process Improvements

Measures of Success :

- Chartered Accountant or a MBA with relevant years of experience in the credit and risk functions of Banks / NBFCs, with exposure to credit approval authority in the previous role

- Critical skills required are strong analytical acumen, evaluation skills, detail orientation & decision making skills, strategic orientation and team management skills

- Excellent interpersonal skills

- Highly proficient in MS Office Tools

- Strong oral and written communication skills
