Head - Country Communications & Media Relations - Oil & Gas - India & Middle East (12-20 yrs)
A fantastic opportunity for a Head of Country Communications & Media Relations to join world's leading international oil and gas companies. This role is accountable to develop, implement and oversee all communications plan and communications strategies for India & Middle East.
- The role is also plays a key part in ensuring all internal and external communications are clear, consistent and coherent, and conform to Group Communications policy and procedures. It also is responsible for providing Head of Country and business leaders sound advice on strategic communications matters and manage overall media relations.
- Role demands 30% travelling and operating out of India and Middle Eastern offices. Base location is Mumbai.
Responsibilities :
- Leading the Country Communications team and supporting the Head of Country on all communications related challenges & communications plan activities
- Contributing to the development of team plan and aligning personal development plans to it
- Building communications capability within the team and the broader business leadership team
- Leading the local Core Messages Working Group and supporting the Issues Management Working Group
- Ensuring all communications activities are compliant and consistent with strategic communications plan and conform to Group Communications Policies
- Providing input to quarterly reviews of issues and relationships matrix and being the key contact for Crisis and continuity management and emergency responses
- Providing training and exercises to ensure sufficient and adequate communications competency
- Developing and implementing an India & Middle East Communications Plan that conforms to the Group Communications Policy and Procedures
- Demonstrating conformance through development of a crisis communications plan and training program
