Job Description :

External Communications :

- Serve as a spokesperson and lead point person on JSW media interactions that help promote and/or impact, the organization.

- Exercise judgment to prioritize media opportunities, coordinating with the appropriate participant to organize, and prepare talking points, speeches, presentations and other supporting material as needed.

- Actively engage, cultivate and manage press relationships to ensure positive coverage surrounding special events, public announcements, and other projects.

- Develop and implement an integrated strategic communications plan to advance the brand identity; and increase the visibility of its organization across key audiences.

- Create marketing/public relations strategy that will allow JSW to cultivate and enhance meaningful relationships with targeted, high-level external audiences, including the media and key influencers, to favorably position JSW.

- Identify challenges and emerging issues faced by the organization. Work with management team and staff to recognize internal and external communications opportunities and solutions, and define and execute appropriate strategies to support them.

- Serve as communications counsellor to JSW leadership while giving strategic direction to Group wide communication initiatives.

- Developing PR / Communications Budget and ensuring implementation.

- Oversee and produce promotional print communications including annual reporting, the newsletter encounters and marketing collateral materials.

- Write/edit copy conforming to JSW identity and messaging for JSW communications materials, both print and online.

- Manage the day-to-day activities of the communications function including budgeting, planning and staff development.

- Overseeing the social media strategy for the company. Manage online brand and product campaigns.

- Oversee all web and online communications : website and social media interactions.

Internal Communications :

- Conceptualization, development and deployment of internal communication campaigns for respective businesses / specific topics in alignment with organizational goals.

- Driving all internal communication for employee engagement including in-house magazine intranet, newsletters, collaterals, communication meets, open houses and other employee events.

- Advise on and assist in senior executive communications - memos, speeches, presentations, Q&A's

- Motivating and taking along employees in championing social causes and activities.

- Monitor and research perceptions of internal audiences to campaigns, and communications outputs. Monitoring of and reporting on the communications campaign and/or events progress to colleagues

Digital communication :

- Create case studies, white papers, executive bios, corporate newsletter content, social media content, and speaking proposals. Supervises the creation and posting of web content including blogs, videos and more.

- Developing and driving the department's strategic plan, which addresses critical issues or each strategic area of the department and outlines plans for achieving those objectives

- Developing and managing digital marketing campaigns. Review new technologies and keep the company at the forefront of developments in digital marketing.

- Overseeing the social media strategy for the company. Manage online brand and product campaigns.
