Our client a Global IT/ITES Company having offices globally is looking for a Senior HR professional specialising and heading Compensation & Benefits function. Based in Bangalore and reporting to the Global Head of Human Resources, this position works across a very broad and diverse employee group across globe.

Job Description

Position: Head Compensation and Benefits

Reports To: The Global Head HR

Location: Bangalore

Role Objective: Plan, Direct and coordinate the Compensation and Benefits activities of the organization so as to deliver the desired business results.

Key Areas:

- Develop & drive a single C&B strategy for all geographies across the globe.

- Play a key role in assisting the Head-HR in conceptualization, design, institutionalize and implementation of new and/or innovative HR initiatives related to Compensation & Benefits and policies related to these areas.

- Collaborate and provide counsel to the Regional HR Leadership, HR Business Partners and Talent Acquisition regarding reward issues, evaluating new positions, job bands, grade levels, job descriptions, promotions and transfers.

- Manage the design and development of tools to assist Managers in benefits selection, and to guide managers through compensation decisions.

- Design Incentive programs aligned to drive required business behaviour.

- Develop and implement a comprehensive communication strategy for total rewards programs across multiple geographies

- Stay abreast of Rewards. Leading compensation benchmarking surveys in order to gain understanding of market trends and changing conditions. Assess findings and impact on the company. Prepare statistical data and reports concerning benefits/compensation activities, programs or results. Assess report findings and make recommendations to management as needed.

- Leverage Technology in the area of Rewards & Benefits to enable efficient Reward process, deployment & governance & customized employee service in total Rewards.

- Create an environment that inspires team to generate novel solutions with measurable value. Encourage experimentation with new ways to solve work problems. Seize opportunities that result in unique and differentiated solutions

Desired

- The ideal candidate will be an MBA from a reputed institute having an overall experience of 10 - 12 years in Human Resources with a minimum of 3 years of leadership and executive compensation experience including exposure in managing end to end aspects of the Compensation and Benefits function from conceptualisation to execution

- The person should have thorough knowledge of IT and ITES Industry and preferably should have handled similar role/assignments in previous organization(s). Experience preferred from consulting companies currently working or worked in past.

- International compensation experience - a successful track record of leading the total rewards function for a global, high tech, fast growth company or having worked in Regional consulting role

- Must have strong analytical skills and the ability to translate technical analysis into executive presentations.

- Strong influencer and communicator at all levels of the organization up to and including the senior business & HR leadership.

- Leadership skills balanced with readiness to play a hands-on role

- Ability to think globally, strategically, and objectively and experience developing and implementing large scale projects and change initiatives

- Ability to link actions to the company strategy and performance
