Job Role:

COE Head will be responsible for achieving FSC targets of establishing and optimizing operations and service delivery for the new Warehousing and Transportation solutions for clients.

The position will be responsible for leading and overseeing the study of the solution as designed by the Solution Design team and being implemented by the Projects team to ensure optimization of process and systems in order to get maximum productivity and desired throughput before handover to the Operations team.

Key Functional Responsibilities:

- For All Logistics projects pan India

- Lead the Optimization of design and process efficiency of product movement and storage systems enhancing productivity by improving operations, minimizing costs and managing staff.

- Recommend strategic plans and reviews the preparation and completion of action plans

- Facilitate smooth handover to the Operations team by working closely with the Projects team

- Fulfill service location operational objectives by re-engineering processes to achieve optimum throughput as desired by the client

- Oversee the implementation of process, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards as commissioned for the facility and agreed upon between the two parties

- Ensure speedy resolution problems and roadblocks in the start-up phase of operations or while setting up of infrastructure

- Oversee the formulation of Standard Operating Procedures and Policies capturing the most efficient and optimized methods and means in all aspects of work including Safety and Health measures

- Ensure the Manpower Productivity optimization by conducting time motion studies supported by practical measurements from initial operations

- Ensure adequate job knowledge by conducting educational and technical training covering all aspects of the job tasks, work environment, health, safety and security

- Document the progress and report the regular updates to senior management

Distribution Centers:

- Analyze the efficiency and usage levels of installed infrastructure - IT, Systems, Shelving, Racking, Pallet movement, Floor Space and Equipment Utilization, Fire and Safety Units, Health and Security Systems etc.

- Identify trends and develop warehouse operations system improvements by analyzing process work flow, manning and space requirements, and equipment layout; implementing changes.

- Ensure timely completion of installation audits

Transportation Hubs and Branches:

Reporting: Direct and functional reporting to CEO

Travel: Office-based with requirement based visits and trips to project sites

Required Qualification : B.E and MBA (Premier Institute)

Exp: 15 - 20 yrs
