Position : Head - Buying

Job Description :

- Develop and implement an effective buying strategy

- To build, develop and guide the Buying, Planning and Allocation teams to achieve targets for growth & profitability

- Highly developed negotiation skills

- Identify and implement improvements in systems, processes and competencies to reach the company's long term vision and targets

- Analysing trends with teams to make sure future customer requirements are met

- Working with both buying and sourcing teams to determine sourcing strategies

- Mentoring teams when necessary in buying and negotiating skills, making sure they have sufficient knowledge of costing, making costs, etc

Desired Skills

- At least 10+ years of experience in Buying/Sourcing in OEM / FMCG / Consumer Electronics industry with good knowledge of the supply base in the China region

- Should be a skilled negotiator with extensive experience dealing with Domestic/ International suppliers/manufacturers

- Source and develop strong relationships with new and existing suppliers
