Client Details :
- Our client is a leading global Retail Company with a significant presence across the world. They are renowned for their innovative products, and have an impressive brand portfolio that they cater to. Currently, they are looking to recruit Head of Buying - India, based out of Delhi NCR.
Job Description :
Reporting into Country Head your major responsibilities will be :
- Leading a team of experienced buyers, of various levels of experience, focusing on developing relationships with existing suppliers while seeking new ones.
- You will work closely with domestic and international suppliers and will play a key role in negotiating prices.
- You will closely monitor changes in customer demand and also supervise stock control and at the same time closely working on budgeting as well.
Profile :
- You will have a minimum of 10 years of experience in buying roles, ideally in an apparel, electronics or accessories industry.
- The client is looking for someone with the experience of managing a large team. Further, you will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability of developing long term relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
