Position: Head-Business Development (International Markets) (Leading Quality Chemical Ingredients Company)
Role:
- Maintaining the existing customers & also obtaining business from new global customers in international markets through systematic search, selection, customer needs determination, quote generation, negotiation of quote/commercial terms and closing the deal
- Implements strategic marketing plans to achieve corporate objectives
- Achieving revenue targets
- Expanding business in unexplored, new markets & consolidation of business in existing markets
- Stays abreast of changes in assigned marketing environment to best serve the objectives of the organization and adjusts plans accordingly
- Role would involve a good deal of international travel
Requirements:
- BSc (Chem)/ BE (Chem) + MBA
- Candidate should have atleast 8-12 years of experience out of which minimum 3 years should be in leadership role with a Pharma/ API, Pesticides or Fine Chemical MNC with exposure to Techno commercial expertise in Business Development
- Should have experience in Business Development for the International Markets
- Cultivates a deep, proactive understanding of clients requirements and goals across clients- entire extended value chain
- Excellent communications, persuasion / influencing interpersonal skills to interface at all levels, internally as well as externally.
- Displays high energy levels
- Ability to work in ambiguity
- Ability to work independently
