Position Title: B&C Head – South {BCCL (Karnataka, TN, AP & Kerala) & TVL}

Reports To (Title): Deputy Director (Head – Capex, Projects & Site management – West & South)

Job Purpose: Budget and monitor DVC operation (Logistics and Warehousing, Custom Clearance, Waste Sale, Labor relations etc.) for the Southern region, develop new service providers, identify cost saving / productivity improvement initiatives and drive changes, formulate and facilitate sourcing strategy for Branch Purchases.

Key Responsibilities:

- DVC Related Activities: - Plan and monitor DVC related activities, warehousing, port clearance, transportation, equipment utilization (Fork-lifts etc.), OSP operations, Cost Saving initiatives, in order to support print business with timely availability of raw material at lowest possible cost.

- Branch Purchase: - Formulate strategies for sourcing of all revenue spend, warehousing, inventory management, service contracts, AMCs, Repairs and Maintenance, Spares and Consumables. Stationery and IT consumables, Gifts and Promotion Items etc. in order to ensure the timely delivery of goods and services to support print operations (with timely availability of materials) as well as internal customers at lowest possible cost.

- Customer Satisfaction:- Review internal / external customer satisfaction in order to plan and implement the changes for improvement in customer satisfaction.

- Relationship Management:- Build the network within the operating Industry and with the non-competing industry in order to support our business with best practices.

- People Development:- Set team’s individual targets, review progress, train and develop team’s competencies in order to raise the team’s performance and productivity

Knowledge & Skills:- Networking, Influencing Skills, Conflict Resolution, Negotiation skills, People management skills

Educational Qualifications:

- A Technically qualified Graduate

- Post Graduate Management Qualification in Operations / Supply Chain, preferably from a Premier B-school

Relevant Experience:

- Around 10 to 14 Years’ experience

- At least 8 years in Supply-chain area

- At least 3-4 years in a supervisory role with a large team

- Should have exposure with FMCG / Continuous Process Industry

- Exposure to SAP is essential

- Implementation experience of Quality / IT / Business initiative would be an added advantage
