Head - Branch Banking Compliance & Controls  One of our clients, A leading MNC Bank is looking for a right candidate for the below mentioned position.  Head - Branch Banking Compliance & Controls  Basic Job Purpose:  - Acts as the person responsible for branch - related compliance & control activities  - Ensures that the branch maintains satisfactory adherence with all laws and regulations –internal and external by conducting branch trainings on various compliance/ matters  - Helps develop and revise operating guidelines and procedures that would improve customer service  - Conducting review of branch banking to ensure compliance with the existing processes.  - Ensuring gaps if any are taken care of by the branches to its logical conclusion. Follow - up with branches on all open issues / gaps identified during branch visits. Ensures that issues are resolved with urgency and escalated in a timely manner.  - Assist branch control team with support of tech team in innovating new user friendly processes. Assist in further enhancement of existing processes and implementation of approved process changes in branches.  - Review of all relevant processes pertaining to branches and highlighting gaps, training of Branch Manager’s, Branch Operation Manager’s and branch customer service teams on existing processes and ensuring implementation of existing processes in the branches.  - Ensure adherence to existing processes and controls, and make constant endeavor towards process improvement.  - Strengthen the peer review checklist and suggest additional MCA test steps to ensure maximum coverage for the review. Closely liaise with the designated branch control staff responsible for standardization of the review process across testers and provide valuable feedback and inputs on the same.  - Provide constant feedback to Head – Branch Controls on process improvements and help in the implementation of new process changes.  - Training of service teams during peer reviews / MCA on how to handle customer expectations, quick kill of queries, taking correct documentation for execution of transactions.  - Ensure effectiveness of controls and processes across branches which are reviewed by self. Assist branches in securing a "satisfactory" audit rating.  - Help in reviews of branches across regions and also to work in close co - ordination with other branch control team members and help standardize processes and controls across regions. Impart and share best practices on an ongoing basis to all branch control testers to strengthen the overall testing methodology for the department.  - Increase interaction and involvement in processes related to other units and further increased interaction with senior management for process implementation, process improvement and standardization of processes across regions.  Education & Experience:  - MBA/CA with 14+ yrs of experience in similar branch banking compliance from MNC Banks.   - Comprehensive knowledge of Bank policies and processes  - Strong people relationship skills.  - Strong project management skills.  - Superior communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.  - Good knowledge of the external competitive and regulatory environments.  - Extensive knowledge of the business, its products and product impact on revenue.  - Strong analytical skills.  Interested may send your profiles with current CTC details to: preambojan@gmail.com  Premnath Bojan, Datamatics Staffing Services Bangalore.
