Designation : Leadership Role (AVP Role) - C&B
Location : Bangalore (Manyata)
The core responsibility therefore is to develop, implement and administer competitive comp/ben that recruit, motivate and retain, consistent with global strategies and locally relevant.
Core responsibilities/activities :
- Conduct annual market assessment and take ownership for the quality of market data used to guide decision-making
- Recommend the base pay budget required for the annual focal review
- Periodically review the competitiveness and effectiveness of our C&B components within India, and make recommendations to close any gaps if required
- Establish tools and channels which empower HR business partners and line managers with the necessary knowledge to make effective reward decisions
- Execute the functional processes, such as but not limited to the annual focal review cycle (CRP), annual benefits enrollments, insurance renewals, etc
- Drive the right balance between corporate and local considerations (i.e. Deploy our corporate rewards strategy within the country while ensuring that local market dynamics are appropriately factored)
- Network internally and externally as the go-to knowledge expert for everything related to compensation and benefits within India
- Manage and direct external vendors and appropriately influence vendor processes and operations to achieve the best outcomes
Support responsibilities:
- Provide real-time consulting to HR business partners, staffing team and line managers related to offers, counter-offers, payroll transfers, and other routine front-line HR activities
- Research and analyze comp/benefit plan trends, utilization patterns and demographic issues; develop appropriate plans or programs to address issues.
- Work with India HR team to design local policy documents and effective governance process flows and checks
- Provide ongoing education and training to business HR, line managers and employees
- Provide ad-hoc support (or lead) regional projects that may arise from time-to-time (e.g. M&A)
Desired Skills :
- The ideal candidate will have a minimum 8-12 years of experience in HR having maximum exposure in the C&B function in his/her respective organization.
Additionally he/she must have the following skill set:
- Should have a Post Graduate degree in HR (candidates from premiere MBA institutes preferred)
- Should have demonstrated strength in analytical thinking and project management skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Should have the ability to work effectively with senior management, HR teams in India and US
- Should have demonstrated good intra-personal skills and ability to thrive in a team environment working collaboratively with other resources
