Job Description - An opportunity to lead the application technology team for a leading Inks company

Client Details :

- Our client is a global leader in Inks/ Chemical industry providing raw material to various applications that add colour to products that we use on a daily basis. They have an interesting and a very well developed R&D and production facility.

- The current requirement that the company has will expand their footprint and technological presence in the India market. To sustain this they are looking at hiring individuals who can ramp up their Technology team.

Job Description :

Reporting to the Head of Technology :

- Development of innovative technology applications, services and solutions according to sales teams and customer requirements in line with defined objectives, quality standards and budgets.

- Implementation of technology applications, services and solutions in cooperation with Sales teams to respond to customer requirements.

- Development, allocation and management of resources to achieve business targets.

- Continuous market and competitor analysis from the technology point of view to ensure the development of competitive applications, services and solutions to respond to market and customer needs.

- Efficient project management to provide defined technology solutions, applications and services according to agreed time lines, budgets and standards.

- Accurate and comprehensive documentation and reporting on technology portfolio developments and progress in line with defined standards.

- Negotiate and deal with external technical partners, market partners and service providers within the area of responsibility as well as cooperate with technology counterparts within the Group.

- Coordination and participation in various inter-company projects.

Profile :

- You will have a Masters or PhD in chemical engineering with at least 10 years of experience in Ink/ Coating development technology.

- You will have an experience managing large R&D projects in printing and packaging in India. You will have a successful track record in ink, packaging, chemicals, coatings, additives, etc. Strong business relationships and leadership abilities is a must have.
