OBJECTIVES:  Responsible for Overall Supervision and Management of operations in Lending Operations to ensure smooth functioning.  Overall guidance and supervision of all Mid Office branches in the country for smooth operations of:  Documentation Process:  1. To provide the pre-printed loan documents for below:  - Corporate Banking (CB)  - Emerging Corporate Banking Group (ECG)  - Capital and Commodity Market (CCM)  - Business Banking Group (BBG)  - Health Care Finance (HCF)  - Commercial Transport Group (CTG)  - Infrastructure Group (IG)  2. To focus on documentation and achieve efficiency levels as desired by senior management   3. Closely interact with business, credit, customers and deliver on the expectations to enhance customer delight  4. To automate processes in Mid-Office with a view to ensure faster TATs, better controls, elimination of errors and to bring about innovative processes including digitization.  5. Coordination with Legal for simplifying documentation.   6. Ability to manage teams and effectively supervise, monitor and control  7. To reduce FTNRs which will enhance customer delight and reduce TAT  8. Delivery of documents and activities in TAT as decided in SLA  Mortgage Process:  1. To monitor the Mortgage Process for below:  - Corporate Banking (CB)  - Emerging Corporate Banking Group (ECG)  - Capital and Commodity Market (CCM)  - Business Banking Group (BBG)  - Health Care Finance (HCF)  - Commercial Transport Group (CTG)  - Infrastructure Group (IG)  2. Handling vendors - Lawyers and Valuers and for smooth functioning. Understanding the requirements from a legal perspective and implementing the same in the bank. Also communicating the bank's requirement to lawyers and valuers for reduction of reworking  3. To ensure use of Systems ( Lasersoft) by Legal and Valuation vendors.  4. Interaction with Credit for increasing vendors for Title Search and Valuation  5. Close coordination with CAD & Business Banking Operations for understanding the requirement and closing the same end to end  6. Closely interact with business, credit, customers and deliver on the expectations to enhance customer delight  7. To reduce FTNRs which will enhance customer delight and reduce TAT  Others:  1. Investigate staff lapses/errors and take corrective actions.  2. Take up issues relating to infrastructure/utilities/ systems.  3. Handling Internal Audit - replying to queries, closure of the queries/ reports.  4. Identify and recommend measures to check unproductive volumes and cases of potential misuse of the banking systems.  5. Ensuring implementation of changes in processes.  6. Suggest gaps in processes, if any, and changes required to address such gaps.  7. Conducting staff training/ interactions to identify and address understanding issues.  8. Monitor the staff requirement at all branches in the country.  9. Track developments, issues, requirement and feedback from Business, CAD & RA Ops and ensure resolution of issues and maintain high morale.  10. Suggest new systems/processes for better management of operations  11. Identifying root causes of delays and initiating and implementing corrective actions. Bringing process changes for increasing efficiency   12. Regular visit to branches, regular interaction with Business, CAD & RA Ops  13. Tracking implementation of projects, track closure & savings of projects, MIS on the status of implementation to FH  14. To ensure timely resolution of customer escalations and to work on reduction of the same.   15. Publishing MIS, make presentations to senior management on various pendency's, highlight challenges and seeking support  16. Any other responsibilities entrusted from time to time.  17. The above responsibilities will remain in force until any further changes are advised in due course.
