Responsibilities
- Source new sales opportunities through outbound cold calls / emails and also inbound lead follow-ups.
- Understand customer needs and requirements
- Route qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales folks for further development and closure
- Research accounts and identify key players
- Maintain and expand your database of prospects within your assigned territory
- Map the right propositions to appropriate titles
- Deliver agreed number of meetings from focus accounts month-on-month and nurturing those conversations towards opportunity creation.
- Work towards integrating in to sales team as their extended arm with in-depth understanding of the account landscape and whitespaces.
Requirements
- Proven inside sales experience in an organization providing similar services (minimum 6 years)
- Track record of over-achieving targets and exceeding expectations.
- Strong telephone based selling skills and experience in making volume calls
- Proficient with corporate productivity and web presentation tools
- Experience working with CRM or other record keeping tools
- Prior experience in using Database population tools like iProfile / Hoovers / Rainking
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Adept at social selling - customer tracking using social channels for creating required mindshare and brand awareness among target universe
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
- Go-getter, determined to grow by demonstrating hunger for success and a good team player
- Willing to work in UK time zone
- Bachelor degree in Engineering, MBA preferred
