Experince – 3 to 6 yrs

1. Work with Program Manager – Global Thought Leadership to manage the generation, development and packaging of content for publishing initiatives, both print and digital

   a. Tasks involving print version of flagship bi-annual in-house publication including but not limited to

       i. CIO Features:

1. Process available information regarding potential content contributions from customers to prepare article thesis / interview briefs

2. Work with sales or other in-house teams as necessary to get approvals from and schedule interviews with customers

3. Manage interview schedules with non-customer content contributors

4. Track & report on the progress of contributors in the issue against the defined table of contents

    ii. Point-of-View Thought Leadership Articles:

1. Proactively be on a look out for good stories and potential content contributors from within HCL. This entails keeping a close eye on developments across the organization (that means new deals, media releases, engagement milestones, new solutions & propositions being developed)

2. Stitch a correlation between HCL developments with larger industry trends. This lends outside-in relevance to the content. Conceptualize content flow around the point of intersection between industry trends and organizational development

3. Coordinate between multiple stakeholders to drive content around key central concepts

4. Demonstrate new thinking in terms of showcasing content

     iii. Manage design, printing and distribution timelines and logistics

      iv. Assist in the management of in-house / external service providers and vendors

   b. Tasks involving digital thought leadership content, including but not limited to

      i. Manage, track and report on the status of all thought leadership forum contributions and responses

     ii. Identify HCL respondents to forum contributions

     iii. Manage social media and Web 2.0 footprint across Twitter , LinkedIn and other content dissemination channels like SlideShare & YouTube

2. Plan and execute campaigns to leverage flagship publication content:

    a. Manage the public online repository and its various manifestations

    b. Help acquire and attract new members to the online community built around the thought-leadership publication

    c. Generate bylined articles in 3rd-party publications through the publication authors

    d. Solicit feedback to Straight Talk articles from the community

    e. Produce videocasts, podcasts and webinars along with content contributors

3. On-ground campaign support for geo-based/field marketing teams:

    a. Support calendar of marketing events across the globe throughout the year with appropriately re-purposed content  / collaterals including but not limited to

       i. Press releases / media briefing notes

       ii. Speaker presentations / slides

       iii. Flash-based interactive presentations or audio-visual clips

       iv. Event branding merchandise / signage

       v. Bid response docket inserts

Pre-requisites

 - 3 – 6 years of work experience including pre and post master degree (MBA preferable)

 - Outstanding young achiever in terms of quantifiable results in their career and education so far with sensible and clear aspirations – preferably from front line marketing, sales or product development backgrounds

 - Hands-on experience in creating marketing materials for different ATL/BTL channels

 - Excellent command over spoken as well as written English

 - Exposure working for the IT/ITES industry or formal education on enterprise IT is preferable

 - Excellent project management skills including planning, negotiations, stakeholder expectation management, tracking and reporting and conflict management

 - Ability to multi-task under pressure with a cool & calm composure, in an unstructured environment, while dealing with imperfect information

 - Demonstrated aptitude for working with multi-racial multi-cultural cross-functional teams across time-zones

 - Ethical, principled and young professional with a passion for his career and a desire to prove themselves over a sustained period of time to themselves and their employer

 - Other additional attributes being sought in the right candidates –  task oriented, creative & imaginative, having an eye-for-detail, self-driven, strong sense of self-belief, interest in technology
