HCL - Backup Storage Presales/Solution Arch

1. Should be well-versed with the RFP process and be able to elaborate on the solution, highlight differentiators of the organization and talk technology to senior IT folks.

2. Should be well-versed with latest developments in the Storage Backup industry

3. Direct customer facing role such as pre-sales or product marketing required.

4. Minimum 4 Years of Domain/Industry Experience,

5. Excellent knowledge of:

- SAN and NAS Concepts

- Storage Virtualization Solution

- Backup Solution and Sizing

- VTL Concepts

- Data Migration concepts

6. In depth understanding of Storage product lines and the differences in their offerings including –

1. EMC

2. NetApp

3. Hitachi

4. HP

5. Quantum

7. Excellent communication skills –

1. Must be able to clearly interact with Business and Technical decision makers.

2. Must be able to present solutions across different audiences

3. Must be able to present ideas in a coherent and concise manner in discussions with SMEs

4. Past experience of working on creating storage and backup utility models

8. Pre-Sales and Architecture certification on storage preferred.

Adept in the Microsoft Office suite especially Word, Excel and Power Point
