Title of job : VP/Sr. VP - Analytics and Big Data

Organizational Relationship :

a) Will directly report to the CEO&MD

b) Will be working out of Happiest Minds office in Bangalore.

Types of customers called on :

a) Enterprise customers including, but not limited to the areas of Consumer Packaged Goods, Manufacturing, Retail, Banking, Financial services and Insurance, Entertainment, Travel and Transportation, Health Care and Government Services markets,

b) Enterprise Product and Software Platforms / Portals, Data Center technologies, Consumer Solution Platforms

Duties and responsibilities related to the job :

a) Create and roll out industry leading solutions and service offerings in this space

b) Enhance the standing of Happiest Minds in terms of thought leadership and market visibility in this practice area

c) Build and present winning proposals that position Happiest Minds as the best-in-class partner for their big data & Analytics needs

d) Enhance the skill and competency levels of Happiest Minds deployed in this practice through practice building programs

e) Visualize and execute cutting edge Algorithms, frameworks and solutions that enable Happiest Minds to deliver unusual value to the customers

f) Work with the CTOs and Delivery leaders to build integrated approach to harness the company wide capabilities in this practice and leverage the synergies across the company

g) Attend meetings, tradeshows and exhibitions to build awareness about the company in the practitioner ecosystem, build contacts and networks to gain in-depth understanding of the market and customer requirements, and help Happiest Minds develop appropriate Go-to-market strategies

h) Call on customers, set up meetings, introduce the Happiest Minds Technology solutions to customer base, build common agreement between customer and delivery teams regarding technical and commercial terms of the requirement and help conclude and execute the business effectively

i) Any other responsibilities that may be added to his/her role from time to time

j) Build relationships with key alliance partners to enhance our capabilities in industry leading platforms in this space to enhance our presence and credibility

Job Demands :

a) This is a Principal/ Individual Contributor/ Influencer role and not a large team/delivery management role. There will be strategic teams assigned under his / her guidance to design & build the solutions as part of a COE

b) He/She should have 10+ years of leadership experience in handling practice building, solutioning, architecting and selling big data/ Analytics services in the Global IT services Industry at a practice leadership level

c) Should have successful track record in creating and rolling out pre-build solutions and frameworks in this space, ideally in the customer categories listed above.

d) Should have good communication and technical appreciation skills

e) Should be willing to travel frequently and meet clients at locations throughout the world

f) Should have a track record of building and executing successful practice strategies
