Job Location : Kurla (W), Mumbai

Key Responsibilities :

The incumbent will be responsible for the overall oversight of accounting activities, financial reporting, statutory reporting and internal control environment and ensure things are recorded with completeness and accuracy.

- Take ownership of financials including Balance sheet control and month end closure

- Present financials, explaining monthly variances and tabling key issues and potential resolutions

- Build a P&L & Balance Sheet enrichment process.

- Ensure proper controls are in place and operating effectively

- Ensure that appropriate transfer pricing between entities is conducted to ensure that the legal entity financials are properly reflected.

- Support and respond to ad-hoc data requests

Detailed Job Description :

- To maintain books of accounts, monthly accrual, books closure as per timelines, Trial balance review, Monthly reporting, Reconciliation, Accounts Finalization and Completion of Annual Statutory,Tax and Internal audit.

- Role will involve working on Tally ERP retrieving various reports, preparing and uploading journal entries, analyze financial information, coordination with stake holders for resolution of open items, drive accuracy in accounting as per Chart of accounts, financial reporting.

- Preparation of Monthly Trial Balance Consolidated P&L and Balance Sheet

- Timely production of statutory and internal financial reports

- Ensuring that appropriate systems and internal controls are implemented and maintained.

Develop systems and procedures to ensure the efficient and effective management of the company's finance

- Using a financial control framework, including financial accountabilities and authorities to ensure full financial control

- Act as the main point of contact to external auditors and provide all required information

- Recommend changes that will improve the company's financial performance and financial controls

- Draft statutory accounts for the group of companies

- Account Reconciliations, Tax Accounting and preparing Tax Schedules, Manage relationship with external auditors

- Monitor and review the issue resolution regarding accounts payable, invoicing and collection efforts regarding accounts receivable.

- Responsible for review of the P&L and balance sheet in order to ensure accuracy and completeness.

- Preparation of budgets, forecasts and cash flows

- Financial modelling and analysis

- MIS reports Team Budget, LOB feed & others

- Cash management and treasury duties

- Experience of handling Legal and Secretarial work is must

Skills Required :

- Tally ERP, MS Office, Excellent MS Excel/PowerPoint skills.

- Strong organizational and management skills.

- Ability to build network and collaborate with cross-functional teams

- Good Communication skills (written and verbal)

- Ability to see the big picture while focusing on the process and procedures necessary to produce deliverables.

- Analytical skills, Ability to analyse financial data and prepare concise reports.

- Flexible to multitask on projects

- Prior experience in controllership, Leadership skills, MIS skills highly desirable

- Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in work product.

- Flexibility and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with on-going and future organizational changes.

- Result orientation and ability to meet and establish deadlines

- Interpersonal skills and People management skills, including monitoring, driving performance metric and appraisals

Educational Qualifications :

Qualified Charted Accountant
