Growth Hacker & Marketing Head - Online Assessment Firm (15-19 yrs)

Work with the market leader in online skill assessments whose clientele includes all the biggest product companies in India like Cleartrip, Times group etc.

As the Growth Hacker and Marketing Head, you will own the organization's marketing function and be responsible for growing the brand and acquiring more clients. This primarily involves developing and implementing strategies to strengthen the company's online presence and help it find a voice that will make a difference.

The company is an exciting place to be at, right now. They quadrupled their revenue in FY 15-16 vis-a-vis FY 14-15. They served clients across 40+ geographies and added 150 people in our ever growing team. If B2B excites you, this company would excite you further.

Our client is a leading online assessment company. The company was founded by IIT - IIM Alumni and has quickly become the market leader in Online Assessment. Launched in 2010, the company's talent assessment platform is now in use by a variety of large companies and small startups. Its mainly used for screening pre-hires and for employee competency tracking and training. The organization boasts of a fantastic client list and has won numerous awards during its short dominance of the online assessment space.

Marketing at the company has historically relied on digital channels for demand generation and feeding the sales pipeline. Unlike broader corporate marketing roles, this role relies mostly on tactics which have a measurable RoI and this forms the basis of all decision making for demand generation tactics. Very recently though, the co has branched out to build event activation by hosting events.

We are looking at a seasoned full stack marketer who is adept at digital channels as well as on ground activation techniques. A predisposition towards marketing HR SAAS products would serve the candidate well in understanding the business landscape better.

What Would You Be Managing :

Search Engine Optimization - The company has a thriving organic search presence. The incumbent would be managing diverse SEO processes ranging from aligning with the tech. team to get a cleaner code for better on page SEO as well as liaison with our PR agency to hunt for link building opportunities in the HR writing space. A proven success record with SEO is crucial.

E-Mail Marketing - Our email marketing engine would garner better RoI if thorough segmentation is applied. The incumbent would enable our e-mail marketers to ensure that the right messaging is applied to the right segment at the right time. It would serve the incumbent well if she understands the software buyer cycle and guide email and content teams to furnish campaigns geared towards different stages of the cycle. Also essential for managing this role would be constant A/B testing, Landing Page Optimization, Click Through Rate Optimization etc.

Content Management - The company's content initiatives have been path breaking in the talent measurement industry, at large. From conducting weekly webinars to pushing cutting edge educational content for our audience, the team is constantly upping the ante. The incumbent would look to push our content pedigree, a couple of notches further. It's imperative for the candidate to understand content dissemination media like Linkedin (what groups should we be a part of- what content appeals to a CHRO vs. a Talent Acquisition Head- etc.) and apply higher order thinking for the team to implement it in their day at work.

A/B and Multivariate Testing - A/B and multivariate testing has become second nature to our marketing team. The incumbent would guide the team to create meaningful test cases to increase our signup rates. Since the B2B traffic set is small, it is crucial for the team to come out with winning tests accurately in the first few attempts.

Analytics - Ensure that decision making is driven by Google Analytics figures which in turn sets our A/B testing agenda. Understanding data around "money pages" as well as "content pages" is crucial for the team to set a direction for itself and data around exits, source and entrances should be understood by the incumbent to lend direction to the team's efforts.

On Ground Activation - The company has recently branched out to conduct on ground events in diverse locations like Gurgaon, Bangalore and Mumbai. The incumbent would take the mantle of ensuring that the sophistication and poise of these events reaches other cities in the country.

Desired Candidate Profile :

- Proven experience as Marketing Head

- Excellent leadership and organizing skills

- Analytical and creative thinking

- Exquisite communication and interpersonal skills

- Up to speed with current and online marketing techniques and best practices

- Thorough knowledge of web analytics (e.g. Google Analytics, WebTrends etc.) and Google Adwords

- Customer-oriented approach with aptitude

- Candidates from B2B Product Marketing, SAAS companies preferred
