Group Manufacturing Head - Polymers/Textile

About Our Client

Our client is a global leader and recognized among the most valuable brands world over in the polymers/textiles space. They are growing aggressively in India and are driven by a portfolio of products both multi sector & multi geography. They are looking for a Group Plant Head to manage multiple plants in the Pune region and based out of the Mumbai office.

Job Description

You will report to the India Head and be responsible directly and indirectly for:

- Developing the plant layout for assembly plants and setting up of production manufacturing facility complete with sourcing of machinery from different sources, liaising with vendors for sourcing of raw materials

- Overall production at the plant, delivering the planned target demand, carrying out process development activities and enhancing product portfolio towards meeting new demand

- Drawing out scheduling plans and execution of production activities .Meeting time and quality commitments, implementing & maintaining quality systems in accordance with the certification norms

- Maximising plant utilisation at budgeted costs while ensuring safety and environment standards

- Developing and testing new concepts, new products with continuous consultation with design & manufacturing team

- Managing co-ordination, execution of operations and maintenance at the plant level

The Successful Applicant

Ideally you have 15-25 years of experience with strong academic qualifications such as a PGD in operations management or MBA in operations. You must have experience in execution of plant responsibilities in an International project environment. You have had a track record of success in your recent assignments and are looking to make the next challenging move in your career. You have good logical and analytical ability along with excellent interpersonal skills.
