As the Group Financial Controller (Workplace), you will be leading and managing the finance teams covering all accounting and operations including billing, AR, AP, revenue accounting and control, general ledger and ensure that all financial activities are consistent with group policies and procedures.

The other key responsibilities include:

- Managing a team of financial controllers and the groups finance operation teams, based in India, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, Hong Kong and Australia.

- Managing the country financial controllers to ensure the groups financial, tax reporting timelines and compliance with all relevant regulations are fully complied with (including external auditor, government authorities, bankers and other consultants)

- Ensuring timely and accurate management reports and group consolidation, cash flow, financial budgets and forecast

- Analysing actual vs. budgeted financial and operational results and working with business partners and business heads to investigate variances and recommend improvement to management and business.

- Driving alignment of key business processes with global best practices & identifying and delivering process improvements that reduce manual effort and cost per transaction and expense control

- Developing, refining, and automating reporting of key operational and financial metrics

- Responsible for all audits and consolidating the company's accounts.

- Responsible for managing the performance of outsourcing accounting partners

Candidate Profile:

- Chartered Accountant with minimum 10 years post qualification relevant experience

- Strong knowledge of IFRS accounting standards, international taxes and project accounting

- Digitally savvy with a strong knowledge & hands on experience of using SAP and other relevant softwares

- Experience with group consolidation and project accounting

- Exposure in regional operations in a cross-cultural environment, preferably across Asia.

- Ability to be a strong leader and a good team player.

- Responsible, meticulous & must have strong drive and initiative

- Ability to multi-task under a fast paced environment
