Global Partnerships Zonal Relationship Manager
- The Zonal Relationship Manager is responsible for growing and managing channel partners in India within a geographic area.
- The ZRM will be required to develop unique ways to develop business with the partner through marketing initiatives, incentives program, expansion into new territories, etc.
- In addition to this, the ZRM will be required to manage on/off-roll field staff to drive higher engagement with channel partner points-of-sale (POS).
While the ZRM will steer the strategic elements of the partnership, he/she must interact effectively with marketing, production and logistics functions in order to meet partner needs.
- The ZRM should be effective at navigating political and hierarchical structure within the partner organization, cultivating relationships and establishing herself/himself as a trusted advisor to multiple functions at multiple levels.
- The person must have exemplary business development and selling skills necessary for getting partner buy-in on prioritized objectives.
- The ZRM must drive execution and manage company-client interactions and act as a planner- developing a timeline and progressing through it with the partner, anticipating potential stumbling blocks and addressing them swiftly.
- The ZRM must be skilled in maintaining long-term ZRM relationships and assessing forward-looking ways to grow and support partners.
The ideal candidate for Global Partnerships Zonal Relationship Manager:
- Is mission-driven, entrepreneurial and passionate about making a significant difference in the world
- Has 3-5 years experience in sales and distribution of consumer durables / FMCG
- Has lived and worked in India
- Enjoys the challenge of working independently and creatively with a fast-growing global enterprise
- Likes getting hands on and is willing to spend 10-15 days a month on the road interacting with resellers, customers and partners
- Is a natural people-person, one that thrives off of building strong relationships both within the organization and externally
- Can tell a great story; communicates clearly, effectively and could capture the interest and attention of 2 or 20 or 200 people at a time.
- Will be based in Mumbai/Delhi/Kolkata
- Is fluent in English and Hindi
