Greenlight Planet - Marketing Manager (6-10 yrs)
Purpose of the Job:
Marketing & Brand Management for GreenLight Planet:
- Articulate the brand’s identity & positioning
- Advertising & Communication for the brand
- Manage agency relationships
- Drive Innovation
The role-holder would work on the brand’s proposition & identity Globally
Deliverables:
Brand Management:
- Develop & own the go to market strategy, positioning, & proposition for the brand
- Create and execute brand communication campaigns
- Build & strengthen the brand’s equity over a period of time - drive awareness, preference, repeat purchase & continuously track these metrics
Consumer understanding:
- Drive the company’s understanding of our customer needs by staying on top of market trends, analyzing customer objectives & collaborating with the Sales team
- Generate strong consumer insights that will drive communication
Stakeholder management:
- Develop marketing campaigns to deliver on business objectives. Work collaboratively with diversified teams to create & manage integrated marketing strategies
- Build 3rd party partnerships where required to execute the company’s strategies
Innovation:
- Design new products & solutions, including pilot campaigns, to ensure that the company is continually innovating
- Work with R&D on product development, conduct Market & feasibility studies for New Products
Media management:
- Develop and implement communication strategies across various media forms including traditional, digital & rural media
- Manage the media & BTL agencies to deliver on the brand’s plans
Desired Skills & Experience:
- Education: MBA/PGDM from a Premier institute
- 6-8 years of Marketing experience in the Consumer Goods industry
- At least 3 years of experience in branding, marketing & communication in a consumer products organization, preferably in an FMCG company
- Experience of managing advertising, media & BTL agencies, exposure to rural marketing
- Preference for someone who has worked with a startup organization & had the desire & drive to help take a break-out start-up to the next level
