Job description

GoPaisa is seeking a Head of Online Marketing responsible for the formulation, execution, and oversight of our marketing initiatives with the goal of ensuring GoPaisa and all its other apps reach the right audience in India in quick time.

Key Responsibilities

- Developing and managing digital marketing campaigns via range of techniques including paid search, SEO and PPC.

- Desktop Marketing Channels - Affiliate Networks, Email Marketing, Partnerships and Remarketing Campaigns across platforms.

- Media Buying- Indepth knowledge of Media buying across platforms.

- Mobile Marketing - Paid Search, FB, Remarketing campaigns on the Mobile platform and building a robust ecosystem consisting of partners and technology for scalable and efficient Business on our Mobile platform

- 5+ years of work experience in Internet Marketing predominantly in the internet/ecommerce space with hands-on experience on CPC campaigns, Media Buying and Affiliate Marketing in a high volume environment. An analytical mind with a good understanding of Databases and analytics is needed

- Measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns, and assess against goals (ROI and KPI.

- High Competence in Data handling - structuring, analytics, interpretation, trend-spotting, forecasting and enabling sound business decisions.

- Compete understanding of marketing concepts and digital marketing domain.

- Ability to make decisions independently/propensity to make calculated risks

- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deliver results in a fast-paced environment

- Should be passionate about the Internet with an understanding of the technology

- Help the Business Development team target merchants that are likely to enter into affiliate marketing relationships or those that are already participating in affiliate marketing but could be enhanced with a direct relationship.

Added Responsibilities

Following not core but would be great if the candidate can help in the following too.

Content Marketing –Formulate content for our upcoming blog with view to gain inbound links with view to maximise search traffic. Hence good understanding of PPC would be great advantage.

Search Engine Marketing –Manage PPC campaigns

Public Relations & Social Media - You'll reach out to the media to generate positive buzz about our company. You'll maintain relationships with bloggers and journalists that we can call upon when necessary. You'll create and manage a strategy for high user engagement on social media platforms such as Facebook and Twitter.

User Acquisition - Content Marketing, SEM, SEO, PR & Social Media all contribute to User Acquisition. But it's still worth separating User Acquisition into it's own responsibility because you'll constantly be asked to figure out what we can do to attract and keep new users. How do bring users to our sites and how can we generate buzz around our products? You'll be responsible for making very data driven decisions on where we should focus our efforts to attract new users.

Building a Team - As the Head of Online Marketing, you'll hire to complete the marketing team. We're a young startup so this process will be gradual, but it will be one of the most important things you do over the time you work for us

Other Responsibilities

- Track conversions and revenue from affiliate merchants so that we can highlight offers/discounts from merchants who are converting well.

- Report to executive team on trends and concerns with our affiliates

- Monitor performance of our email marketing and newsletters.

- Analyze our competition to determine where we can improve.
