Job Description :

- To handle entire Transport Operation of PAN India. Expert of FTL,PTL,Fleet handling of the location. Coordination with client for vehicle attachment,ensure time bound delivery of shipments. Expert of Fleet Operation, routing, networking, costing etc.

Desired Candidate Profile :

- Person from Hard Freight Operation having experience of Fleet Operation of own fleet & market hire vehicle. Capable of routing, planning, costing, management, networking of routs etc. Expert of FTL, PTL business, ready to take ownership of the operation

- Support Road transport Operations

- Support S&D in meeting RTHSSE deliverables as per Annual HSSE plan, calendar and KPI targets.

- Support S&D RT initiatives, haulier / driver training and KPI monitoring and data base management.

- Tracking of vehicles through IVMS on regular basis and support scheduling team for timely delivery of product

- Monitoring Tern around of time of the vehicles and continues improvement.

- Conduct tool box meeting for drivers and attend represent function on haulier HSSE meeting.

- Support the hauliers in practicing / implementing HSSE initiatives at their end including documentation

- Maintain & Monitor database of trucks / drivers and send alerts for renewals. Custodian for all the driver and vehicles documents.

- Support the hauliers in tachograph download analysis and eliminate Journey Management violations in operations.

- Provide continuous feedback to haulier in improving Driver, Vehicle, Journey and HSSE Management standards

- Be part of the team conducting haulier appraisal, contract compliance and operations review and monitor

- Issue or (Co-ordinate with Surveyors) on delivery documentation and road permits for every delivery.

- Ensure use of only approved drivers, fully compliant vehicles being positioned for loading.

- Track compliance / non compliance in RT operations and report.

- Conduct RT Toolbox meetings with drivers and hauleir staff.

- Support haulier in route mapping, surprise road checks and D&A tests, trainings for identified gaps closure.

- Support S&D function in monitoring transit shortage, decantation process and WSM processes.

- Provide HSSE inductions to all new haulier staff / drivers.

- Be member of the ER team of TSO.

- Support RTKM Mapping for varies route to the RT and Scheduling team.

- Ensure vehicle integrity checks and effective Pre-entry gate checks

Commercials :

- Monitoring IVMS units, Speed limiters, abloy locks to its effective and optimize utilization.

- Ensure accurate RTKM and en-route toll expenses mapping.

- Key Focal point to ensure RT operations Consumable items are available, like Driver Meal coupons, driver incentives etc

Key/Special Challenges :

- Ensure that daily road transport operations meet all legal requirements and HSSE standards at lowest cost to service level

- Continuous improvement and Strict compliance of Vehicle, driver and journey management

- Close teamwork within the scope and in particular with Scheduling Support and RT team

- Driver mindset and culture change w.r.t Product security

- Mindset change to incorporate safety culture in hauliers, drivers and Terminal operators
