GoAir - Regional Airports Manager (8-15 yrs)

Job Purpose :

Manages operations at airports within his region and supervise respective Airport Managers. Ensures all compliances are met as per regulatory and company requirements. Enhances visibility in customer contact areas

Key Accountabilities :

- Ensures safe operations at airports within his region and deliver customer service of the highest order

- Achieves targeted OTP levels at each of the airports within region

- Analyzes reasons for delay, recommend and execute effective solutions in order to maintain the highest level of OTP

- Prepares monthly rosters of respective Airport Managers and ensure roster-rotation is adhered to for all team members

- Undertakes scheduled visits of all stations for conformance (SOP, branding, grooming, uniforms, etc) and service delivery checks as per company guidelines. Conduct staff forums to regularly brief team members of updates and business priorities

- Carries out the inspection of all GSE and suggest actions to be taken to the concerned stakeholder from customer presentation perspective for any unserviceability. Ensures 100% serviceability of any GSE before acceptance by Airport Services at respective airports

- Obtains feedback from Airport Managers about GHA's performance and suggestions to improve their services periodically

- In case of flight disruption, advise respective Airport Managers and coordinate actions to be undertaken as per SOP. Work closely with IOCC to minimize impact to network OTP due disruption

- Responsible to prepare and present adequate budget pertaining to his region in concurrence with Airport Managers

- 100% training, communication and preparedness of ERP procedures

- Continually seeks to improve effective deployment of resources at each airport location

- Guides Airport Managers about administrative and functional matters

- Responsible to assess station performance under his region along with Airport Managers periodically

- Follows up with Head Office for timely payments of AAI, airport operators and other agencies

- Reviews daily, weekly and monthly reports from Airport Managers to individual station and region's performance

- Augments airport revenue opportunities by working with Revenue Management & Ancillary Sales

- Ensures Airport Managers maintain and update accurately revenue trackers for the stations in his region

Job Description : Regional Airports Manager

- Hospitality/Customer Service skills Expert

- Knowledge on Terminal, DGR and security procedures and airport operations Expert

- Local language Moderate

- Budget/Financial Planning Moderate

- Knowledge of DGCA rules and regulations Expert

Education & Experience Qualifications :

- Educational Qualifications (Include additional certificate required, if any)

- Relevant Experience (Type of roles & duration which an individual should have done in his/her prior experience

Necessary:

- Graduate/Post-graduate in any field

Desirable:

- IATA, Diploma in Aviation Management, Degree in Airport Management/Business Management

Necessary:

- 10 years of experience in an airline/aviation/hospitality

- 8-10 years in a supervisory role

- Minimum 5 years of experience as an Airport Manager of non-metro or minimum 2 years- experience as Airport Manager of a metro airport

Desirable:

- Strong customer service attributes

- Sound knowledge of load & trim functions
