1.Ensures that all flight crew members are rostered in adherence to the current statutory regulations governing Flight Duty Time Limitations (FDTL), and company policies.  2.Ensures that online monitoring and electronic data storage of FDTL are carried out.  3.Prepares and forwards a report of the Flight duty times in respect of all Flight Crew for each month to the MD/VP Flight Operations, in the specified format.  4.Ensures that the workload distribution among the flight crew members is equitable with a view to maximize Flight crew utilization.  5.Provides the base managers of the respective bases, the leave plans of flight crew members, taking into consideration the manning requirements for crew in GoAir.  6.Furnishes information in respect of feasibility and flight crew costing with regard to planning of new routes.  7.Liaises with the other departments and keeps them informed about the problems associated with the rostering of flight crew to new destinations and consequent effects and changes to Flight schedules.  8.Prepares flight crew roster covering training requirements in respect of initial and recurrent training.  9.Ensures timely receipt of records of training of flight crew. Monitoring that flight crew certification, qualifications training and currency requirements are complied with prior to scheduling the crew for flight duties. These shall as a minimum include Licenses / Certification, specific qualifications (LVP, RVSM), equipment qualifications (TCAS/CAS, GPWS/EGPWS, HGS), recency-of-experience, medical status, including Medical Certificate, initial training and checking / line check/ proficiency check / recurrent training and checking results, right seat qualification, type(s) qualification, airport and route competence (including special airports), instructor/evaluator/line check airman qualification, CRM/ Human Factors training, dangerous goods training, security training.  10.Monitors deviations between planned and actual crew rosters and institute a process to minimize changes.  11.Recommends flight crew manning requirements at different bases based on Flight Schedules and Crew rotation pattern in coordination with Base Managers of respective bases to MD/VP Flight Ops.  12.Institutes procedures to enhance automation of crew scheduling to maximize crew utilization and optimization of operating costs.  13.Generates monthly reports of hours flown by flight crew and expenditure involved in hotel accommodation and travel and forwards the same to MD/VP Flight Ops.  14.Compiles a monthly report of the training plan as received from concerned Fleet Training Department as against the training achieved and forward the same to MD/VP Flight Ops.  15.Member of the scheduling committee.  16.Any other duties as assigned by MD/VP Flight Ops.  17.In the absence of the post holder, Manager Rostering/Crew Scheduler will assume all functions of the General Manager- Rostering.  Core Competencies:-  1.Tech Savvy with good working knowledge of excel, power point etc.   2.Good Communication skills   3.Good negotiation skills   4.Good leadership qualities.   5.Quick decision making skills   B.Functional Competencies   1.In depth knowledge of CAR and Crew FDTL.   2.Working knowledge and experience in ARMS.   3.Ability to introduce automation in Rostering process   4.Project Management & Report writing   Educational Qualifications (Include additional certificate required, if any)   Necessary:   - Graduation in any field  Relevant Experience (Type of roles & duration which an individual should have done in his/her prior experience) Necessary:   - 10-15 years of experience in Crew Resources related role (including rostering, planning, training and crew leaves)   Desirable:   - Experience as a systems administrator for crew/aircraft operational systems is highly desirable.
