Role Summary:

- Job holder will be responsible for supporting full transaction processing cycle for Listed Derivatives products from transaction entry through statement creation in the GMI/SunGard application.

Responsibilities:

- Understand and support full transaction processing cycle for Listed Derivatives products from transaction entry through statement creation in the GMI/SunGard application

- To provide application support on GMI/SunGard back office application (in/out of office hours), iSeries (as400) software applications by Newedge Global users across Europe, North America and Asia.

- This position is also responsible for supporting the operations staff, testing and enhancement of the GMI/SunGard application and custom AS400 developments

- Maintain GMI parameters, profiles and contracts in all environments. Implementation of Client data Bulletin

- Running, monitoring and supporting the night batches.

- Ensure Newedge's governance and developments are respected and fall under the firm strategic model (i.e. system and application integration and product line workflow management).

- Work closely with the business unit users and within IT group on GMI support

- Share in a weekly rotation for production support of the night processing.

- Weekend On-Call support as in required.

- Work on special projects

- Provide advice to users of the SunGard-GMI system.

- Take initiatives on process, system improvements and optimization. Work on Capacity improvement, Application testing as required.

Requirements:

- Minimum 5 years business experience working in the derivatives industry and at least 3+ years in supporting GMI Application in capital markets (Futures, Securities, Bonds)

- Hand-on experience with As400 Development

- Good knowledge of SunGard/ GMI processing system. (Including a good understanding of prime GMI

- Good knowledge of global exchange traded futures and options products and processes

- Good knowledge of Futures & Options operational and back-office processing and controls

- Previous experience in application support and knowledge of IBM AS400 commands and query tools

- Experience in full incident management, problem management. Complete understanding of support procedures and processes.

- Understanding of SDLC process.

- Strong oral and written communications capabilities

- Experience in the AS400 Turnover change management process would be good.

- Basic project management skills

- Candidate would need to gain an understanding of the Listed Derivatives business and the

- Applications and data flow within the Technology group.

- Learn all new GMI modules as they are released
