Position Purpose :
To establish a new business line in the surgical guides market in India through an innovative new product and service solution. The responsibility includes establishing a Greenfield operation & team. Target is to grow the Medical vertical from Zero to INR 15 Cr. in 3 years.
Areas of Responsibility :
- Structure the entity / vertical for delivery of the Position Purpose
- Develop detailed 3D Surgical Guides capability to assist Surgeons / Doctors & Medical Teams
- Specify, negotiate, procure and then manage the entire production line including capital equipment, service contracts and training of production team.
- Develop linkages to National Hospital chains to be the conference reference for 3D Medical imaging / modeling requirements
- Work alongside the Chief Experiential Officer to create a sustainable competitive advantage by creating a product offering like none available in the market at the moment.
Education : Post Graduate Business Degree from a pedigree institution, preferably MBA. Medical degree preferred
Essential Skills & Knowledge :
- Marketing & Selling of Medical products in India (Regional / National Level)
- An understanding of the evolving medical technologies (Surgical guides etc- ) in India
- Previous experience in handling over INR 20 Cr as a direct responsibility either as a sales target or as a P&L
Key Achievements :
- Establish a business from a zero base & providing world class quality products
- Achieve INR 15 Cr. in 3 years through partnering solutions for the Medical community
Desirable Skills & Knowledge :
- Knowledge and experience of selling solutions based services to Doctors / Surgeons
- Establishing a team, developing the organization & identifying HR performance metrics
